Enhancing Education

Government has ensured the existence of primary school in every panchayat and the formation of a sub-committee under the supervision of deputy pradhan as education is the key to all development. Bhartiya Jan Sewa Ashram aims at ensuring the quality education to the children, improving the education system and doing efforts for maximum enrolment and retention of school going children.

It is organising rallies and awareness camps through street plays, and other motivational tools and supporting the ‘School Chalo Abhiyan’ run by the government. Parents are motivated to send their children to school and get them enrolled.

BJSA is making efforts to upgrade the schools to middle level, where the children have graduated to sixth standard. It has succeeded in upgrading seven schools and in establishing primary schools in six more villages. In one of the panchayats in its operational area, there was no government school. The organisation established Asha Bal Vidyalaya in the village and enrolled children belonging to BPL category.

BJSA is also organising workshops on child rights to discuss rights of children and doing efforts to stop child labour and enrolling the children to schools.

The organisation is also running computer training centre in two villages, Bhatpura in Maharajganj block and Oodpur Gelhwa in Badlapur block, of its operational area and providing them six months training in computer application.
